EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Rachel was born and raised in Indianola and graduated from Indianola High School in the class of 2002. She received Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Simpson College. Prior to her time at WCEDC, Rachel worked for the Indianola Chamber of Commerce where she assisted with facilitating business programs for Indianola area business, planned community events and served on many committees including the Indianola Tourism Committee.

She gained excellent experience in her five years at the Chamber and enjoyed working with the Indianola business community and volunteers. She is the Past-President of the Warren County Leadership Institute Board, Co-chair of the Warren County Farm tour, member of the Indianola Sustainability Committee, and serves as the Central Iowa Tourism Region representative for Warren County.

MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Lucinda joined the WCEDC staff to help enhance the marketability of Warren County Economic Development and connect businesses to available resources. Previously she worked for over 6 years as the executive director for the Norwalk Area Chamber of Commerce and for over 25 years has worked under the name Designgoddess.com as a marketing and graphic design subcontractor.

Lucinda has an extensive background in marketing, design, sales, event planning and assisting business start ups. She lives in Norwalk with her family and enjoys showing small businesses and organizations how to better connect with their target audience.
