Indianola Home For The Holidays & Lighted Parade
Indianola Downtown warmly invites you Home for the Holidays! You're sure to find your holiday cheer as the Square is transformed with the dazzling sights, sounds (& smells) of the season. Ask Santa if you are on his Nice List, take a horse drawn wagon ride, join in on a carol or find a treat just like your grandma used to make. Plus, there is no better place to find the perfect holiday gift than our beautiful boutiques, so be sure to bring your gift list! A lighted parade will wrap up this festive evening with a bow!
Annual S’mores & Hayrides and Spooky Trails
Join us after Carlisle's Pumpkin Fest for additional fall fun with the Annual S'mores & Hayrides and Spooky Trails events at the Scotch Ridge Nature Park & Trail in Carlisle, IA.
S'mores & Hayrides run from 3:00-5:00pm
Spooky Trails runs from 7:00-9:00pm
Free will donations support Carlisle Hometown Pride initiatives

PumpkinFest
This FREE family event is held annually on the 4th Saturday in October in Downtown Carlisle. The event is packed full of FUN - Costume parade, trunk or treat, kiddie train rides, candy, vendors, food, entertainment, and of course PUMPKINS! Decorated/carved pumpkin contest, pumpkin painting, crafts, games, petting animals, and more!

Children’s Costume Party
Free activities, trick or treating at businesses around the Indianola square and a costume contest make for a morning filled with family-friendly fun at this event that has been an Indianola tradition since 1998!
